“Exploring Artism” @ Yale Center for British Art. 10am-12:30pm. This is a free program for children 5-12 years of age and on the autism spectrum. Participants will find a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for autism families. Learn ways to engage social skills, practice fine motor control, sustain participant attention and focus while looking and talking about artworks with the whole family. No fail lessons and multi-sensory follow-up activities are shared along with modifications for sensory regulation and self-expression. Link for more details.

Ice Carving Competition & a cappella performances @ the Shops @ Yale Broadway Island. 12-4pm. Free. 6 professional ice carvers from all over New England will each transform 900lbs of ice into a spectacular sculpture. Plus performances by local a cappella groups.
