Summer Spotlight Double Feature: Tunes, Trails, Trucks
1. Sugar Shack Series @ Brooksvale Park
Hamden’s Sugar Shack Series @ Brooksvale Park. Live music every Sunday 12-2pm. Plus, the hiking trails, the pond, the farm, the barn, the garden, and the swings all available for family fun. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the live music and all the park has to offer.
2. Trucks & Tunes @ Hindinger Farm
Live music, food trucks, mobile pub, dessert trucks, kids playground and race track, the goat pen, farm stand produce, fresh pies, Hamden homemade ice cream, and much more. Every other weekend, Hamden families are invited to join the Hindinger family for all of the above at their Hamden farm. Local bands, local food trucks, local produce, local pies, and local ice cream are all on the menu at this biweekly community event. Link for schedule.
Friday July 21
“Party in the Park” & the Hamden Summer Concert Series @ Town Center Park. 8pm. DJ Buddha LuvJonz and Herman Ham Group bring the party with their unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music for a serious Party in the Park. Link for more details.

The mission of the 7th Annual Compassionfest is to unite like-minded people who believe in the values of being just, kindness, equality and compassion. We'll gather for delicious vegan food and animal-friendly product providers, non-profits, local artisans, vegan tattooing, music, & healing workshops for all ages.
