Spring Showcase: The New Peabody Museum
After four years of redesign and remodeling, the new Yale Peabody Museum is finally here - 4.5 billion years of history is waiting to be explored. The 1st and 2nd floors will open on March 26th, the 3rd floor will open later this spring.
A message from the Peabody: “We are committed to building a greater understanding of science, culture, and community, giving space to a wider range of collaborators and experts, and listening to our visitors. Each time you come back to the Peabody, expect to see something a little different - and be part of that change yourself.”
The museum will use a reservation system for the first 30 days after opening to manage anticipated crowds. Plan your visit in advance by reserving a timed ticket.
