Fall Feature: Trains @ Eli Whitney Museum
A.C. Gilbert’s American Flyer Train Show returns to the Eli Whitney Museum. Opening day for the annual Hamden holiday tradition is set for Friday November 29th — and is free to all visitors. This beloved tradition is a festive favorite for all ages, featuring American Flyer S-gauge trains winding through a seasonal New England landscape and a model of downtown New Haven circa the 1930s.
Visitors can operate the trains and enjoy the Erector free-build station. Also, kids and families can build their own wooden toy trains for a small fee.
