Final Weekend: Free museums for CT kids & 1 accompanying adult all summer. Over 100 museums participating, plus the zoo and both aquariums. Ends September 5th. Link for more details.

Volunteer Opportunity: SGPA Trail crew assemble every Sunday by the tool shed near Main entrance at 9am. There are blazes to paint, trees to clear, and other work for all skills and abilities. Bring your gloves and wear sturdy shoes – tools will be provided by SGPA. All are welcome to join. Link for more details.

Home opening games for Hamden Hurricanes Youth Football teams @ HHS. Various age-group games all day. First game at 8am and last game at 3pm.

"A Woman's Work" Film Screening Series @ Best Video & Cultural Center. 7-9:30pm. Feminist Films and Discussion with Raizine Bruton and Jules Larson. A four part film-series. Each film depicts the role of women in various societies, the mostly unpaid labor expected of them, and the narratives surrounding passionate love, the exploitation of women, psychopathic leadership, and incarceration.
