Pumpkin decorating party @ Miller Library 4-5pm on Monday October 17th. Children grades K-6. Link for more details and registration.
Make a Franken-toy @ Miller Library. For teens grades 7-12. Tuesday October 18th @ 3pm. Piece together different parts of different stuffed animals to make a franken-toy! Create new scary, beautiful, mysterious, or familiar creatures. Link for more details and registration.
Halloween Edition of “Pajama Storytime” @ Brundage Community Branch Library. Wednesday October 19th 6:30-7pm. Listen to some (not too scary) Halloween stories. Wear your pajamas (or a costume!) if you wish. For ages 2-6. Link for more details and registration.
Movie matinee “Ghostbusters Afterlife”. Saturday October 22nd 2-4:30pm @ Miller Library. Free. Link for more details and registration.
Trunk-or-Treat (and Fall Festival) @ Hamden YMCA Camp Mountain Laurel. Saturday October 22nd 2-5pm. Fall crafts, sports, hiking, and other family fun events. The Fall Festival will culminate with the Trunk or Treat event! Registration required. Link for more details.
Halloween stories, jokes, songs and fun. Wednesday October 26th 6pm @ Brundage Community Branch Library. Children grades K-6. Free. Link for more details and registration.
Halloween Costume Party @ Playwright. Friday October 28th @ 9pm. Live music and prizes for best costumes. Free. Link for more details.
Not-So-Spooky Family Halloween Party for young kids @ Best Video Film & Cultural Center. Saturday October 29th 10am-12 noon. All children welcome, but programing will target 7 and under. There will be some classic Halloween cartoons, story time, activities and costume prizes. Link for more details.

Free Family Fun Day @ Shubert Theatre. Saturday October 29th 10am-1pm. Event includes walking backstage tour of the theatre with trick or treat stations along the way, as well as an arts and crafts area. Halloween party & kids concert with Grateful Dead music @ Space Ballroom. Sunday October 30th @ 12pm. The Rock and Roll Playhouse band offers its core audience of families with children age 10 and under games, movement, stories and an opportunity to rock out in an effort to educate children and explore their creativity.
