Friday June 23
Opening Week of the Yale Carillon Summer Concert Series. Carillonneurs from all over the world are invited to come play the bells at Harkness Tower. Concerts are free and open to the public, and are held every Friday from 7-8pm. Link for more details.

“Foraging Class” @ Brooksvale Park. 10am. Forager Chef Vinny Crotta and CT Foraging Club founder Amy Demers will be co-teaching a class on Summer plant and mushroom foraging. The class will consist of a lecture portion where you will learn how to identify different edible and medicinal plant and mushroom species that are out this time of year. You will also learn how to make a medicinal mugwort salve. We will then go on a foraging walk where we will practice plant and mushroom identification. The entire class will be about 1.5 hours long.
