Friday Nov 4
Home Game: Our UNDEFEATED and Top 10 ranked HHS Green Dragons face Hillhouse @ 7pm. Hamden is currently 7-0 and ranked #6 in the state of CT. It’s not too late to jump on the bandwagon to support the Dragons.
Fantasy Game Night @ Eli Whitney Museum. 6-8:30pm. Ages 10-15. Link for more details and registration.
Free HSA soccer skills clinics. Location has been changed to the Everson indoor soccer facility. 5:30-7pm. Note: these clinics are only for current Hamden Soccer Association players (all age groups).

Hamden’s Saturday Family Entertainment Series… Bubblemania. 1-2pm @ Miller Library (Thornton Wilder Hall). Link for more details.
Hamden Soccer Association’s “Thanksgiving Food Drive”. 8:30-10:30am @ HMS soccer fields. Accepting non-perishable donations on behalf of the Hamden Food Pantry.
“Science Cafe” presented by Open Labs @ Yale. Open to Hamden middle school students and families. Explore hands-on science demonstrations and learn about groundbreaking research while enjoying snacks and hot cocoa. Scientists from many fields and backgrounds look forward to answering your questions and you can even win prizes! Link for more details and registration.

Volunteer Opportunity: SGPA Trail crew assemble every Sunday by the tool shed near Main entrance at 9am. There are blazes to paint, trees to clear, and other work for all skills and abilities. Bring your gloves and wear sturdy shoes – tools will be provided by SGPA. All are welcome to join. Link for more details.

Top 10 Showdown: Our #6-ranked HHS Green Dragons travel to West Haven to face the #4-ranked WHHS Blue Devils in one of the best matchups in the state this year. Kickoff is @ 6pm @ Ken Strong Stadium in West Haven. Jump on the bandwagon to support the Dragons.
Hamden Veteran’s Day Ceremony. The Town of Hamden and Hamden’s Veterans Commission cordially invites residents to this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony. 11am at the Veterans Monument in front of the Hamden Middle School. Link for more details.

“Highlights Tour” @ Yale Univ. Art Gallery. 2-hour interactive tour of the gallery’s history, architecture, and global collection. Focusing on a handful of objects chosen to showcase both the permanent collection and special exhibitions currently on view. Free. 1:30pm most Saturdays and Sundays during the academic year. Farm & Garden Conference @ Common Ground Urban Farm @ West Ridge State Park. Full day of hands-on workshops open to all. Link for more details.
Exploring Artism @ Yale Center for British Art. 10:30am-12pm. Free for families with children who are 5-12 years of age and on the autism spectrum. Participants look at artwork in the galleries and create a follow-up project in a museum classroom. While the needs of individuals with autism are prioritized, it is also fun for parents, siblings, and other relatives too! Link for preregistration.
