Many Halloween-themed events this week all around town. The many great neighborhoods of Hamden will have the usual Halloween night trick-or-treating, of course. Friday Oct 21
Road Trip: The UNDEFEATED and CT Top 10 ranked Hamden High football team travels up the Merritt/Cross Parkway to Wallingford to take on Sheehan HS @ 7pm. Perhaps grab some Glenwood to-go, enjoy the fall foliage on the Merritt/Cross, and then cheer like crazy for the Green Dragons.
World Orchestral Premiere: Yale Philharmonia presents the world orchestral premiere of the Piano Concerto in C minor by Helen Hagan, the first Black woman to graduate, in 1912, from the Yale School of Music. 7:30pm. Splash @ Yale is an event that brings area high school and middle school students to Yale for one day of unlimited learning. 10am-3:30pm.
