QU, HHS, Pop Warner, and HSA… Hamden student-athletes are having a banner fall at all levels and across numerous sports. College, high school, and youth teams all achieving great things here in Hamden. Check out the awesome success stories below, including several videos. Plus, info about 3 HUGE games this weekend for Hamden & QU teams.
Hamden High School Football is 8-0 and ranked #7 in the state and has already secured a spot in the state playoffs. Checkout this Gametime CT interview with Coach Dyer from earlier this week. (Skip ahead to the 40 minute mark to see/hear Coach Dyer’s interview.) This Saturday night they face #4-ranked West Haven HS at 6pm in West Haven.
QU Men’s Soccer are the 2022 MAAC Regular Season Champions. And they are playing in the MAAC Tournament Championship Game right here in Hamden this Sunday @ QU @ 12pm. Link for more details. Check out this preseason video interview with Coach Da Costa:

Hamden Hurricanes 6u and 12u football teams are the SCPW league champions and headed to regional and national tournaments. Link for more details.

HSA soccer teams won CJSA league championships for multiple travel soccer divisions: u11, u12, u13-15. Link for more details.
